WARNING!  PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PRACTICE DAY UNLESS YOU ARE ALREADY HAVE A CONFIRMED BOOKING FOR THE SUSSEX JEWELLERY SCHOOL ART CLAY LEVEL 2 COURSE IN SEPTEMBER 2012.  (If you do, your booking will be rejected and your fee will be refunded, less a £20 admin fee to cover our costs!).

What are Practice Days?  Practice Days allow students who have enrolled on our more challenging courses to practise the projects they will be assessed on, in advance. 

Is tuition included?  No, Practice Days are for self-directed study.  A tutor will be present just to ensure your health and safety.

Are materials included?  No, you will need to purchase your own materials.

What about the cost of kiln firings and Keum boo hotplate electricity and wear/servicing?  Each kiln firing needed by the group present on the day will be charged at £15 (to be divided between the participants).  Keum boo hotplate time will be charged to the group at £15 per hour or part hour (again, to be divided between the participants).

Can I bring my own materials?  Yes, that's fine, please do.  Please ensure that all materials are shown to the supervising tutor when you arrive, to ensure they're suitable for use with our equipment.  All materials should be marked with your name.  You are responsible for keeping your materials and other possessions with you.

Can I change or cancel my booking?  Please let us know in advance if you cannot attend a Practice Day that you have booked onto.
